August 26th was Baby A's first photo shoot at 7 weeks and 1 day. Jansen and I, along with Grammie and Mimi, were all so excited and could not wait to meet the precious lil peanut. Oh and what a peanut he/she was. It truly is a miracle of God for something that tiny to become one of us.
When I laid on the ultrasound table our faith was definitely put to the test because our little peanut was hiding...well sort of. You could see the tiny miracle but there was no heartbeat. Seconds....what seemed like hours later...there it was the sound our ears and hearts had been waiting for. And in that moment with a smile on my face I was thinking there couldn't be anything better, but I can't wait to see his/her beautiful face.

I am so thankful for my best friend and my wonderful husband. I know he's going to be an amazing Daddy!

Is it going to be a prince or a princess? Whatever it is I'm going to love it...can't wait to be Aunty A! Love all three of you!!!
ReplyDeleteHearing that little heart-beat is only the begining...wait till you look into those tiny, beautiful eyes for they first time. You think it can't get any better...then "lil peanut" is about 2 years old and looks up at you to say..."Mommy, you're my bestest friend". You and Jansen will never be the same. Moments like those...little glimpses of pure joy...will be the reasons behind you're smile.
ReplyDeleteOk...I'm going to make my prediction! Usually I don't do this unless I touch the belly first, but I might not get to. But, to let you know...I have guessed 12 out of 13 correct!
ReplyDeleteMy first instinct is girl...but I am secretly hoping for a boy so Easy and Him can get into alot of mischief together! Now, if I would happen to see you before you find out the sex...I reserve the right to touch your belly and maybe change my mind! Your sisters are right...they are pure JOY! Congrats!!!
